Kagrart founder @kareemgraphy did his first truly international workshop in the beautiful city of Istanbul .

An enthusiastic Russian community invited him to explore modern Arabic calligraphy and it was a deep pleasure to rejoice in many ways. We are pleased that the spirit of calligraphy is spreading across borders and nee bonds are made.
Much grateful that Kagrart is being followed by a spirited global community of art lovers, especially calligraphers. Here is what KareemGraphy felt about the workshop:
“I had the privilege to visit Istanbul  to give a workshop about Modern Arabic calligraphy.
Different people from different countries, backgrounds, religions and languages, got united by one stroke. That’s the powerful mix of beauty and love.
However I ended up learning priceless lessons from the organiser of the workshop and all those who attended, their passion, their stories and their dreams. Not to mention that the city itself is a big school about calligraphy, art and life itself. At the end, our humanity is what unites us, and it is way bigger and stronger than anything that sets us apart.
